by Mira Lamson Klein

It's the Lincoln Middle School Spring Pageant and Mrs. Morris's sixth grade class is putting on a play about the legalization of gay marriage. As the Catholic Church, the Unitarian Church, the LGBTQ+ Movement, the media, and a strawberry (there was a costume mix up) debate the issue, the kids can't agree on what the message of the play should be or even what the play is about. In the process of trying to...well, process the moral of the play, the kids accidentally unravel their world view and ruin the pageant.

Movie Title *Wink Wink* : A Disney Channel Original Movie
by Mira Lamson Klein and Kara Powell

Written as part of Skidmore College's annual 24 Hour Play Festival, Movie Title *Wink Wink* is a mad-cap summer romp set at Camp Goodname following the campers and counselors as they prepare for the camp dance. In true Disney Channel fashion, feelings will be revealed, songs will be sung, and friendships will be forged. In not-true Disney Channel fashion, angst will be had, a single curse word will be uttered, and something will actually come of the sexual tension. And there will be piña coladas for all. Watch it here.
